Thomas John Sfraga, known as "T.J. Stone," has been found guilty of defrauding more than $1.3 million from friends, neighbors, and investors in New York. Using the names of companies referenced in the TV show "Seinfeld," Sfraga falsely claimed to be the owner and principal of multiple businesses, promising investment returns of up to 60% in three months. He pled guilty to wire fraud in federal court and faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison, along with a restitution order of over $1.3 million.
