12th-ranked University of Arkansas softball team narrowly defeated Southeast Missouri State (SEMO) 3-2 in their first game of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional on Friday. Arkansas trailed SEMO 2-0 until they scored three runs in the fifth inning, securing their victory. With this win, the Razorbacks advanced to play Arizona, who defeated Villanova earlier in the day, in the regional winners bracket.
