Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) apprehended 11 suspected vandals damaging NNPC pipelines at the Apir Depot in Makurdi, Benue. The vandals were caught on May 14 by a team from the anti-vandal and rapid response squad units. The NSCDC suspects community complicity and plans to arrest the masterminds, implementing measures like deploying plainclothes officers and conducting periodic raids to prevent further incidents.
