Pakistan has urged Afghanistan to act against terror groups threatening its security and sovereignty. Foreign Office spokeswoman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that Pakistan respects Afghanistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity, but is prepared to defend itself against any threats. Pakistan has conveyed its deepest concerns to Afghan authorities about the situation along the border and urges Afghanistan to prevent its soil from being used against Pakistan.
