Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez won the Black-Eyed Susan for a record fifth time, riding Gun Song to a 3 1/4-length victory over Corposo at Pimlico Race Course. The win marks Velazquez's first Black-Eyed Susan win since 2012 with In Lingerie, and adds to his previous victories in 2005, 2003, and 1998. The 1 1/8-mile race for 3-year-old fillies takes place the day before the Preakness Stakes.
