India and the UK have affirmed their commitment to finalise a free trade agreement (FTA) during their annual UK-India Strategic Dialogue. Both nations discussed progress on the UK-India 2030 Roadmap, which involves deepening cooperation in areas such as health, climate, trade, education, science and technology, and defence by 2030. The strategic dialogue is expected to pave the way for the two nations to work towards mutually beneficial economic and trade relations.
