Ethiopian and Djiboutian youth are realizing their career dreams with the Chinese-built Ethiopia-Djibouti standard gauge railway. Ubah Ismail Ahmed, a team leader at the Nagad railway station in Djibouti, shares her journey from being a novice to mastering modern electrified railway operations under the guidance of Chinese experts. Through rigorous theoretical and hands-on training, local youth are now working independently and making decisions on their own.
