Environmental justice group The Descendants Project opposes plans for a large grain elevator and export terminal in Wallace, Louisiana, due to zoning ordinances that allow industrial giants to set up near residential areas. The group has previously won a lawsuit against St. John the Baptist Parish but is now heading back to court. The land at the center of the conflict is known as the "Greenfield Property."
