Cal Poly Humboldt students are living in RVs due to high housing and education costs, with one in 10 CSU students experiencing homelessness. The California State University system raised tuition 34% in five years, and students struggle to find parking for their RVs on campus. In response, Democratic legislators introduced AB 1818, a bill allowing RV-dwelling students overnight parking with a valid permit.
