61-year-old Toronto city councillor Jaye Robinson, representing Don Valley West since 2010, has died after battling breast cancer.
Toronto city councillor Jaye Robinson has died at the age of 61, her office has confirmed. Robinson had been ill for a number of years and announced her breast cancer diagnosis in 2019, which required her to take time away from City Hall. She represented Don Valley West since 2010 and held leadership positions, including chair of the Toronto Transit Commission and the Public Works & Infrastructure Committee.
