26-year-old Reece Robertson from Millom admitted to four offences under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 in court. RSPCA and police officers discovered eight injured dogs at his home and allotment in Millom during an investigation called Operation Spike. Robertson was disqualified from owning animals for 10 years and given a 12-month community order requiring 200 hours of unpaid work.
