41-year-old Ethiopian marathon runner Kenenisa Bekele returns to the Olympics after 12 years, competing against Kenyan Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge in the Paris Games.

41-year-old Ethiopian running legend Kenenisa Bekele, a three-time Olympic gold medallist, returns to the Olympics for the first time in 12 years, after being named in a 10-member team for the Paris Games. Bekele, who now competes in marathons, will renew his rivalry with Kenyan Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge. The men's marathon will be held on August 10, with the women's race scheduled for August 11.
