The University of New Mexico's Board of Regents has approved land acquisition for a reproductive health center in Las Cruces, Doña Ana County. The $10 million project, set to include abortion care, aims to fill a gap in services in Southern New Mexico, where residents often travel long distances to receive reproductive health care. The project, called the Reproductive Healthcare Success Project, is set to open by October 2025.
