The Philippines extends its zero-tariff policy on electric vehicles (EVs) and parts until 2028, aiming to promote a transition to eco-friendly vehicles and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The extension, approved by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board, also expands the policy to include hybrid electric vehicles, e-motorcycles, and e-bicycles. This initiative is part of the Marcos administration's efforts to combat climate change and promote cleaner alternatives to fossil fuels.
