A recent drag race recreation by MotorTrend debunked Tesla's claim that a Cybertruck towing a Porsche 911 could beat a regular 911 in a quarter-mile race. Tesla's original video showed the truck outperforming the sports car, but MotorTrend's tests revealed that the Porsche consistently won, with the gap between them increasing in each of the six races, with the 911 winning the final race by 1.5 seconds.
