Tory peer Kulveer Ranger suspended 3 weeks from House of Lords, banned from bars for 1 year due to drunken misconduct.

Tory peer Kulveer Ranger, who advised Boris Johnson on transport policy when he was London mayor, has been suspended for three weeks from the House of Lords and banned from its bars for a year after an investigation found him to be "visibly drunk" and making "inappropriate comments" to a group of people in Parliament's Strangers' Bar. The House of Lords Conduct Committee has recommended that the House of Commons authorities also consider banning Ranger from their bars for a year.
