Indian boxer Parveen Hooda suspended 22 months, ITA cites "whereabouts" failures, India loses Olympic quota in women's 57kg.

Indian boxer Parveen Hooda has been suspended for 22 months due to "whereabouts" failures by the International Testing Agency (ITA), causing India to lose its Olympic quota place in the women's 57kg category. The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) is attempting to regain the spot by fielding a boxer already registered as a reserve before April 11, 2024, in the 2nd World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Bangkok.
