FX and Hulu plan to launch two more seasons of "Shogun" series, based on James Clavell's novel, with original creators and actor returning.
FX and Hulu are planning to launch two additional seasons of the historical drama series "Shogun," based on the novel by James Clavell. The network is working with Clavell's estate to extend the story beyond the original novel. Co-creators Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo, along with series star and producer Hiroyuki Sanada, are set to return to work on the project. The first season's 10-episode run concluded on Hulu in April, and the creative team behind it will be returning for seasons 2 and 3.
