An explosion and fire at a Florida Power & Light (FPL) plant in Martin County injured 2 FPL employees and 1 firefighter. The incident occurred when workers tried to repair a turbine. One FPL employee was seriously injured and airlifted to a burn center, another worker suffered minor injuries, and a rescued firefighter was also injured. The fire was extinguished, and detectives are investigating the severe accident.
