Electrolux has issued a recall for 203,000 Frigidaire and Kenmore electric ranges due to fire and burn hazards. Heating elements can spontaneously turn on or fail to turn off, posing fire risks and burn hazards. Affected ranges manufactured between 2009 will be inspected and repaired for free if possible, or consumers will receive a $50 electronic gift card and up to $60 reimbursement for haul-away fees with proof of purchase of a new range and haul-away services.
