Columbia University faculty members passed a no-confidence vote against President Minouche Shafik over her handling of pro-Palestinian demonstrations on campus. The vote, led by the campus chapter of the American Association of University Professors, was in response to Shafik's decision to call police onto campus twice to clear pro-Palestinian protests. The resolution of no confidence was supported by 65% of the 709 Arts and Sciences faculty members who voted, while 29% voted against it.
