Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), KK Invest, and Danish Bio Commodities acquire majority shares in Sindal Biogas, one of Denmark's largest biogas plants. The companies plan to develop the facility's capacity to process 500,000 tonnes of biomass annually, producing upgraded biogas for the gas grid of up to 34 million cubic meters and capturing biogenic CO2 for the green energy transition. The acquisition is expected to create growth and jobs in the local area and contribute to the green transition.
