China's major electricity production companies saw a 3.1% YoY increase in power generation in April, reaching a total output of 690.1 billion kilowatt-hours. Solar power output surged 21.4%, while hydropower, thermal power, and nuclear power also experienced growth, with output rising 21%, 1.3%, and 5.9% respectively, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
