China's air passenger trips surged by 10.6% YoY in April, totaling 55.95 million, marking a significant recovery in the country's civil aviation industry. The sector's total transport turnover increased by 21.6% to 11.38 billion tonne-kilometers, while air cargo and mail transport rose by 25.3% YoY. International flight volume has also recovered to more than 70% of pre-pandemic levels, with 10,986 international passenger flights operating last week.
