Bangladesh appoints Major General Syed Tareq Hussain as new Ambassador to Kuwait. Tareq, a decorated military official, has served in various staff, instructional, and command appointments in the Bangladesh Army. His prior roles include Commandant of Bangladesh Ordinance Factory and GOC of 19 Infantry Division. Tareq has also participated in UN peacekeeping missions in Angola and Côte d'Ivoire.
