Arizona woman charged for helping North Korean IT workers pose as US citizens.

An Arizona woman, Christina Chapman, is charged by federal prosecutors for helping North Korean IT workers pose as US citizens, secure jobs in major US companies and generate nearly $7mn for North Korea. The scheme compromised the identities of 60 Americans and involved 300 US companies including a national TV network, a Silicon Valley tech firm and a renowned American carmaker. The overseas IT workers also attempted to gain employment at two US government agencies but were thwarted.
