Amazon canceled "Silk: Spider Society," a live-action Marvel show based on Sony's Spider-Man characters.

Amazon has canceled the live-action Spider-Man spin-off show "Silk: Spider Society" after years in development. The series, which aimed to be the first of several live-action Marvel shows based on Sony's Spider-Man characters, faced lengthy development and was delayed by the WGA strike in 2022. Sony Pictures Television is now seeking a new distributor for the project, which will focus on the character Cindy Moon, aka Silk.
