During the 2024 ACM Awards, Ashley McBryde and Schitt's Creek star Noah Reid joked about Morgan Wallen's chair-throwing incident, which occurred in April. They playfully mocked Wallen by singing a parody version of his song "Last Night" during their stage presentation. Wallen was arrested on reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges for allegedly throwing a chair off a bar's roof in Nashville.
