ACC's restructure proposal risks worsening Māori health outcomes by cutting dedicated Māori roles in injury prevention.

The PSA claims ACC's restructure proposal risks worsening Māori health outcomes, as it plans to cut dedicated Māori roles in injury prevention, including sexual violence education. The team specialising in Māori injury prevention will be halved from 10 to 5 roles. The changes are part of ACC's wider restructure, which proposes to shed 390 jobs, including 29 dedicated injury prevention roles in total.
