Abu Dhabi Ports Group invests $1bn in a 1M TEU capacity terminal at Chittagong Port, Bangladesh, signing an MoU with Chittagong Port Authority to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Abu Dhabi Ports Group (AD Ports) is investing $1bn in a multipurpose bay terminal at Chittagong Port in Bangladesh. The terminal will have a capacity to handle one million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) containers and seven million metric tons of cargo annually. AD Ports and Chittagong Port Authority signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance the country's import and export efficiency and reduce transportation costs and time.
