A staff member at an Iowa youth facility has died after being assaulted by a juvenile resident. Kathleen Galloway-Menke, 50, was shoved by a 15-year-old resident at the Ellipsis Iowa center, causing her to hit her head on the ground. She was taken to the hospital and later died from her injuries. The teenage boy responsible for the assault is currently in juvenile detention, with amended criminal charges pending.
