The US State Department has removed Cuba from its list of countries deemed not fully cooperating with counterterrorism efforts, due to improved cooperation between Cuban and US law enforcement. Cuba was not on the State Department's list of state sponsors of terrorism. North Korea, Iran, Syria, and Venezuela remain on the list of countries that are not fully cooperating against terrorism.
