The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) awarded £13m to the Joint Recovery Action Plan (JRAP) for earthquake relief in Western Nepal, focusing on water sanitation, nutrition, protection, shelter, and food security for 50,000 people. The additional funding complements Nepal's government efforts and supports infrastructure reconstruction, including schools, drinking water supply facilities, small irrigation systems, and rural roads.
