The UAE has announced a 10-year Blue Residency visa for individuals who have made significant contributions to environmental causes. Open to people worldwide, this initiative aims to reward and encourage sustainability champions in fields such as marine life, land-based ecosystems, air quality, sustainability technologies, and the circular economy. The visa, approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, underscores the country's commitment to sustainability as it pursues its Year of Sustainability agenda.
