Europe's largest travel company, TUI Group, has narrowed its first-half losses and upheld its annual forecast, thanks to a record second quarter. The company's revenue rose to €3.6bn in the second quarter, a 16% increase compared to the previous year. TUI's cruise and hotels businesses experienced significant growth, with cruise occupancy at 100% capacity and average daily rates increasing by 20% to €221. TUI reported pre-tax losses of €403.1m for the six months ending March, a 37.9% decline from the previous year.
