7th District Arizona tribes receive $36m in largest-ever Indian housing funding from US HUD's IHBG program.
Arizona's 7th District tribes, including the Tohono O'odham Nation, Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Cocopah Tribe, and Quechan Tribe, will receive over $36m in housing funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) program. This funding, totalling $1.1 billion, represents the largest-ever investment in Indian housing. The money can be used for new housing construction, rehabilitation, and housing services.
