Montreal's international airport operator, Aéroports de Montréal, has sued the new Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET) over its name change. The dispute involves confusion for travellers, as the new MET airport rebranded itself from the Montreal Saint-Hubert airport after announcing a partnership with Porter Airlines for a $200-million terminal. Aéroports de Montréal has requested a permanent injunction to force MET to change its name in Superior Court.
