Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas discovers hydrocarbons in Suriname's Block 52 at Fusaea-1 well.

Malaysian oil and gas company, Petronas, has made its third hydrocarbon discovery in Suriname's offshore Block 52. The discovery was made at the Fusaea-1 exploration well, situated 170 km offshore and 9 km east of the Roystonea-1 location. Petronas is the operator of Block 52 with a 50% participating interest alongside ExxonMobil, and further evaluation is underway to determine the full extent and potential of the discovery.
