Lithuanian researchers at KTU expand self-assembled monolayers for use in both regular and inverted perovskite solar cells, published in ACS Energy Letters.

Lithuanian researchers from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) have expanded their previous invention, self-assembled monolayers, which can now be applied to both inverted and regular structure perovskite solar cells. These self-assembling molecules arrange themselves into a single-molecule-thick layer, acting as an electron-transporting layer in solar cells. This breakthrough, published in ACS Energy Letters, could lead to significant advancements in solar cell technology.
