Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the opposition of spreading lies about the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and said that the law is here to stay. In an east Uttar Pradesh rally, Modi blamed the Congress and the Samajwadi Party for bringing a triple dose of appeasement and claimed that the BJP government worked for the satisfaction of all. He stated that the government will not allow the CAA to be removed, as it is a crucial part of his government's policies.
