As the world's most populous nation, India generates 20% of the world's data and has the second-highest number of GitHub AI projects. The country's data center capacity is projected to double from 0.9 GW in 2023 to 2 GW by 2026, requiring an estimated capital expenditure of Rs 50,000 crore over the next three years.
