Honda CEO announces doubling investment in electrification and software to $65bn by 2030.

Honda will double its investment in electrification and software to $65bn by 2030, aiming to accelerate its transition to electric vehicles and autonomous driving technology. Previously pledging $32.5bn in April 2022, this new commitment was announced by Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe at a press conference. The company aims to invest 10 trillion yen ($64.88bn) in electrification and software by the end of the 2030 fiscal year.
