AT&T and AST SpaceMobile partner for a 10-year agreement to offer satellite-based internet connectivity to mobile phones, challenging SpaceX's Starlink. The space-based broadband network, set to run until 2030, will work with ordinary mobile phones and provide connectivity in remote areas. AST SpaceMobile plans to launch its first commercial satellites into low Earth orbit this summer, with AT&T joining its board since 2018.
