14-year-old boy seriously injured by car on Main St, Portland; driver cooperating, witness info requested.

14-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Main Street in Portland on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred near Waverly Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The teenager was taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center for treatment. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to contact Officer Bailey at 860-342-6780.
