Whistleblower Robert Kroutil alleges EPA delayed deploying ASPECT plane after East Palestine, Ohio train derailment.
Whistleblower Robert Kroutil claims that the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) delayed deploying its ASPECT plane, equipped with advanced sensors, after the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment. Kroutil alleges that the plane should have been deployed within the first five to 10 hours after the incident, but it took five days to reach Pittsburgh, the nearest major city. Kroutil, a former EPA contractor, resigned in January, and his claims raise questions about the White House's response to the February 3rd disaster.
