Three students from St. Muredach's College in Ballina won the EirGrid Cleaner Climate Award at the SciFest@College 2024 regional competition in ATU Sligo. Their project, "To compare the dry matter content of wilted and non-wilted grass," impressed judges and qualified them for the SciFest National Final in November, with the potential to represent Ireland at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in 2025.
