SSE Renewables finalized its £100m investment for the 50MW Aberarder Wind Farm in the Scottish Highlands, set to begin construction this year and complete by 2026. Located near Inverness, the project will power 60,000 homes annually and offset 35,000 metric tonnes of carbon emissions. It forms part of SSE's Net Zero Acceleration Programme Plus, a £20.5bn investment plan for low-carbon energy infrastructure by 2027.
