Qatar's Energy Minister, Saad Al-Kaabi, has announced plans for Qatar to sign additional long-term natural gas supply deals this year to meet increasing international demand. As one of the world's top LNG producers, Qatar has already secured sales of 25 million tonnes of LNG in the past year and aims to expand its North Field output to 142 million tonnes per year by 2030.
