Qatar Airways plans to invest in a southern African airline within weeks for African expansion.

Qatar Airways is set to make an equity investment in an unidentified southern African airline within the upcoming weeks, aiming to expand its presence across Africa. The CEO, Badr Al-Meer, announced this during the Qatar Economic Forum, revealing that the deal could be announced in two to three weeks. Qatar Airways currently serves 31 destinations in Africa and is looking to augment its network through strategic investments and partnerships.
