1 person died and 4 injured in a fiery crash on Long Beach's 710 Freeway after a police pursuit of a stolen car. The incident began around 10:25 p.m. when Long Beach police chased a Kia Optima, which later crashed into a big rig and caught fire. Multiple lanes of the northbound freeway were closed due to the crash, reopening just before 1:30 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
